Laura Phelps Sweatt - Powerlifter

Huge SquatIt is no exaggeration to say that Laura Phelps Sweatt is arguably the greatest female strength athlete ever. Laura’s relatively new career in strength sports has seen her dominate a sport like few ever have. She literally has no competition and stands alone breaking her own records time after time (roughly 35 times now!).

It’s almost silly to say, but if it is possible for Laura’s accomplishments to be made even more impressive the fact that she executes her lifts using absolutely flawless technique and form lends her lifting an aura of near effortlessness. Like all truly great athletes when you watch Laura perform you get the feeling that you could do it too. The only problem is when you put 700 lbs on your back you realize you can’t. …
