Scott Weech

Scott Weech Jr. is another of AtLarge’s athletic prodigies.  He stands as the youngest person ever to squat 1,000 lbs!  He was also one of the first few to squat 1,100 lbs.

Scott is currently 25 years old.  He is married with a 2 year old son.  No slouch in the intellect department, Scott is a college graduate with a degree in criminology.  He currently works as an emergency medical technician (EMT).

Beyond his precocious lifting Scott is quite unique in the breadth of his strength sports abilities. While most lifters are satisfied to be good at one strength discipline, Scott is both gifted and determined enough to be very good at several.   He has set records in both equipped and raw powerlifting, is an ASC Pro Strongman, and is also a national level Olympic weightlifter having previously qualified for the US Weightlifting Nationals.

Some of Scott’s Best Lifts:

* Equipped squat: 1,100 lbs
* Raw squat (not even knee wraps and walked out): 854 lbs
* Raw bench: 556 lbs
* Raw deadlift: 804 lbs
* Raw total: 2,215 lbs!
